We live in a Quick-fix society (diets, over-exercising, fasting…) which may give you results in the short-term but creates more imbalance & dissatisfaction in the long-term.
This adds to feelings of failure, helplessness, shame, beating yourself up… which buries any remaining motivation.
Given the wrong information – marketing (food companies’ goal is profit NOT our health). Meanwhile, our innate body wisdom becomes out of balance, and we’re the ones making a loss.
Instagram / social media leads to comparison-itis and perfectionism.
Over time, we’ve lost sense of what balance and true health is, and become overwhelmed with what we perceive we should do.
We experience lack of time to ourselves, trying to do everything, and be everything, to everyone else – giving from an empty cup.
I disagree and love to combine ancient wisdom with evidence-based science, along with my own intuition.
I’ve been working with clients in the health & wellness industry for over 15 years and am certified in numerous qualifications (if you’re interested please ask and I’ll be happy to share these with you).
1 – When I was 15 years old, I nearly died from a Brain Aneurysm and, after being in a coma for 2 weeks, was told that I’d never walk again. I had to fight for my health. (It’s OK, I won!)
2 – I’ve had a career in Modelling which led me to a very unhealthy place with disordered eating. I understand what it’s like to have had an unhealthy relationship with food.
3 – I’m NOT a Dietician and personally don’t like the word “DIE-T”. I’m about feeling alive, about out-THRIVING ourselves. Also, the word “Diet” is often associated with restriction which is the opposite to what I’m about. I’m also NOT a Naturopath. Both Naturopathy and Ayurveda approach wellness from a holistic point of view. The difference is that Naturopathy concentrates more on providing natural therapeutic treatments for diseases while Ayurveda focuses on balancing body, mind and emotions through creating harmony from the inside out.
4 – I’m not here to cut corners, to “push through” or be your “kick up the butt”. If I do suggest any “Quick Fixes” they will be with the intention of creating balance within your body. (With that said, you can absolutely expect improvements straight away.)
5 – I was born in Germany – but never quite felt at home in Germany. I have previously lived in New Zealand as well as Switzerland, and currently live in Australia with my 2 gorgeous teenage daughters, husband and my darling-puppy girl. I know what it’s like to be time-poor and pulled in all directions.

We discuss your goals (big and small – anything that deviates from you living your best life) and take a full assessment of where you’re at – your habits, lifestyle, stress levels, digestion, health history etc. I’ll ask lots of questions, listen deeply, and tune into your body. From these questions, answers and intuitive guidance, I’m able to get an understanding of where in your body, mind, emotions and life there is imbalance.

* While I am always with you in every step of the process, hearing & understanding you, holding space, empowering, and motivating you as well as holding you accountable, I will not hand out instructions on what to do or not to do. I might suggest things but this is always done in teamwork with yourself. It is essential that you feel comfortable with the area selected and the way forward until we meet again.
