Thick and Creamy Pumpkin Smoothie

 

Makes: 2 medium-sized smoothie jars

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup pumpkin puree, unsweetened
  • ½ cup of rolled oats
  • 1 medium-sized ripe banana, fresh or frozen
  • 1 TBSP chia seeds
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon, ground and unsweetened
  • 1 tsp of pure vanilla, ground and unsweetened
  • ½ tsp of ginger, ground
  • ½ tsp of nutmeg, ground
  • ¼ tsp of cloves, ground
  • Pinch of good quality salt
  • 2-3 Medjool dates, pitted and cut into small cubes
  • 1 cup of almond milk, unsweetened
  • Optional: if you are looking for an even richer and creamier version add 1 TBSP of tahini or almond butter
  • 1 cup of ice-cubes (if you have been using frozen fruit, you might want to use less)

 

Method:

  1. Add all of your ingredients into your high speed blender and mix until your smoothie has a rich and creamy consistency and all your ingredients are well combined.
  2. Pour your health-boosting and beautifying smoothie into a pretty jar or glass and take the time to mindfully enjoy how delicious wholesome healthfulness can taste!!!
