Ingredients:
- 2 cups of chickpea flour
- 2 tsp of baking soda
- ½ – 1 tsp of ground chilli powder
- 1 tsp of turmeric powder
- 1 tsp of ground or fresh, thinly sliced ginger
- 1 TBSP of nutritional yeast
- 1 tsp of good quality salt (I love to use herbal salt for this one, Herbamare is a good one)
- Ground black pepper to taste
- 2.5 cups of filtered water
- 1 TBSP of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp of apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup of kale, destemmed and thinly sliced
- ¼ cup of fresh parsley
- 3 TBSP of pepita seeds
- 3 TBSP of sunflower seeds
Method:
- Preheat your oven to 180 degrees and line your baking dish with baking paper.
- In a bowl, mix your chickpea flour, baking soda, spices, nutritional yeast, salt and pepper until combined.
- Add your prepped kale, parsley, seeds, water, olive oil and apple cider vinegar and stir until dough forms a smooth consistency (no lumps, no air pockets).
- Transfer your dough into the prepared tray with baking paper and bake for about 30 minutes or until your bread is golden brown and wooden skewer inserted comes out clean.
- Let your bread cool fully before slicing. Enjoy!!!
