Ingredients:
- 2 medium-sized sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into approximately 1 cm sticks
- 2 TBSP of extra virgin olive oil
- 2 TBSP of turmeric, ground
- 1 tsp of cumin powder, ground
- ½ tsp of good quality salt (I used Herbamare)
- ¼ tsp of black pepper, ground
- ¼ tsp of cayenne pepper
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and line your tray with baking paper.
- Mix the olive oil, ground turmeric, cumin powder, black and cayenne pepper in a large bowl.
- Coat your sweet potato sticks well in the mixture.
- Transfer coated sweet potato sticks to your prepared baking tray. Make sure your sweet potato chips are well scattered.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, turning your chips after 15 minutes, or until golden brown and crunchy.
